Mr. Ubaid Amanullah – Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Ubaid Amanullah serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Gul Ahmed Energy Group and Metro Power Companies. With over three decades of experience in Pakistan’s energy sector, he has played a pivotal role in the Group’s growth, contributing to multiple renewable and thermal energy projects.

A graduate of Northwestern University, USA, with a BA in Economics, Mr. Amanullah was among the founding leadership instrumental in the establishment of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited, the Group’s first Independent Power Producer (IPP), which commenced operations in 1997. His expertise in project development, operations, and strategic planning has been integral to driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability across all business segments.
